Our Three Pillars

We measure our growing impact through the increase of annualized growth in awarded grants, the District programs invested, and number of students impacted each year by the efforts of the FDCS. The Foundation funds and fundraises around these pillars:

INNOVATION & LEADERSHIP

Emphasis on creative modes of instruction that prove effective at increasing students’ cognition. Developing the whole student - focusing on communication, collaboration, critical thinking skills, initiative, community stewardship and leadership.

PATHWAYS

Provide students with a clear direction for their future education and career goals necessary for success in our changing world and evolving workforce. Allowing students the opportunity to explore, engage and excel in learning that prepares them for success in today's world.

COMMUNITY

Promote inclusion, empathy and stewardship of our greater community in the education process, as well as turning the rewards of that education back towards the community in terms of service, stewarding and care of those in need.
