Chapter Resources

The Foundation provides resources to more than 85 school-based “chapters.”  Chapters, similar to school booster clubs, provide resources that enrich the educational opportunities of students within their specific schools. A site-based volunteer committee representing the parents, staff, administration and community manages each school chapter. The FDCS provides financial accountability, insurance, bookkeeping, and 501(c)(3) oversight. The FDCS also offers its chapters a merchant services account to use for credit card acceptance. Overall, the Foundation manages over $5 million per year for its chapters.

The Foundation is great for all Douglas County School organizations which require fundraising in order to run their daily operations.  It is flexible and easy to manage.  The support given by the FDCS staff is truly remarkable.  I have never been let down or mis-guided when asking a question or had a concern.  My needs are always addressed in a timely manner and allow me to do what is right for my program.
