Lend-A-Hand
2024 LEND A HAND KICKS OFF ON MAY 15!
2024 SCHOOL SUPPLY DRIVE
The Foundation for Douglas County Schools coordinates the Lend A Hand School Supply Drive every summer, with the goal of collecting, purchasing, assembling and distributing backpacks and school supplies to students in need. This annual school supply drive is in its 14th year. The Foundation distributes over 1,500 backpacks annually. Support the Lend A Hand School Supply Drive with a drive in your business, neighborhood or community!
Lend A Hand ensures that every student starting the 2024-2025 school year will have the supplies they need to help them be successful in school. This program continues to be possible through the generosity of our community partners and individuals.
All DCSD teachers are invited to attend the Lend A Hand GRAB & GO event on Thursday August 1, 2024 at the Mercantile Bldg. 420 Third St., Castle Rock 80104 from 3pm to 6pm. Free school and teacher supplies!
The opportunity to REQUEST an age appropriate backpack is now closed for the 2024-2025 school year.
