Our Mission
The Foundation for Douglas County Schools (FDCS) works to enrich student experience and promote innovation. The Foundation is an independent charitable organization that develops private resources to support our students and schools.
Our Vision
The Foundation is the nexus between the Douglas County School District and the greater community. The FDCS connects, finds, and funds opportunities with partners and the larger business community to have the greatest positive impact on the students of the Douglas County School District. We achieve this through our pillars of Innovation & Leadership, STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, & Math), and Community.
Tax Exempt Status
The Foundation for Douglas County Schools is a Colorado non-profit, public benefit, corporation. It is a tax-exempt organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. The federal tax ID number for the foundation (EIN) is 84-1165175. All donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
